Have you ever had the experience where you’ve made a great effort in a task, you’re about half way through it, and you realize you need to press the restart button? Today’s post is about that experience.
You’ve climbed the beanstalk only to realize you need to climb back down again and start over, because there’s something you missed the first time.
This is exactly where I am with my novel for kids. I thought I’d finished it, but I learned I need to press the restart button. This time, I hope to get it right.
I wonder how many people write a book one time and it is done. I can’t imagine that it is very many.
Keep at it and I am sure you will get what you want.
Hi Linda, I haven’t been able to stick to my 15 minutes a day yet. I’m under a lot of pressure with a deadline right now. Maybe once the deadline is done, I will be able to pick it up again.

Look at that … Finny is waiting at the top for you to fall and faithful Wood is waiting at the bottom, in case you fall and he can come to your aid. Thant’s the difference between cats and dogs.
I’m sure you didn’t make it as an accomplished artist overnight. It might be that your journalism and writing might take some time too. Be patient and persevering and if it’s meant to be, it will happen.
Hi Bonnie, I agree, patience is the key.

It’s never too late to begin again
Hi Gwen, That’s true.

Oh my gosh I love this one. Wood is so adorable waiting at the bottom. When you found the golden feather Finny didn’t suddenly get a “cat that just ate the canary” look did he? lol No…not Finny. He’s a good cat and will not eat the golden goose. I could sense the climb down in this sketch. I’m going to use that restart button myself today. Have a wonderful day.
Hi Laurie, That restart button can be painful! LOL, but sometimes there’s just no choice.

There are times where I wish we could restart, rewind, resay, or even take a second to rethink it over again. TFS!
Hi Diana, I know – that’s so true. I’ve made some posts that I wish I had put more thought into that I could just start over from scratch!
