I almost let the blog go this morning.
Often, I draw my doodle for the blog the night before I post it. But it got away from me last night.
First thing this morning, I found myself caught up in work, but I had this simple idea at the last moment, and I saved the blog today. So I hope this is an inspiration to everyone to save your own balloon today. It’s a great feeling.

Very encouraging sketch. I love it. I enjoyed yesterday’s post too but wasn’t online to comment on it. I’ll comment here. I loved the sketch. I also love the thought you put into your novel and love of writing. Sometimes we create things that take a lot of our time. We nurture it and love it but when show it to someone else they don’t appreciate it as much. It does not diminish the value unless we let it. Your novel is probably wonderful as it is and can be used as a tool in learning what the publishers say the “market” wants. It’s too bad the “market” doesn’t always provide what the people want. Follow your dreams and enjoy the ride. You are wonderful at what you do. Have a great day. 🙂

Good Monday morning to you Tim! Great doodle and even greater thought behind it! You always do such a wonderful job on hands! Sometimes a save is just beyond our control…but we can maybe bounce back at a later date when circumstances permit, right? At least that’s what I tell myself! lol Today I have to try to save some laundry! haha Thank you for saving your blog today and giving me some inspiration! 😀

Hi Nancy, Hands are difficult – I tend to use my own hands as reference because they’re so conveniently available. I will admit that it’s hard to draw my right hand when I’m drawing with it.
Yes, sometimes it is impossible to make a save, but there is always another day to try again. I hope your laundry got saved today!

Hi Fergie, Thanks! It’s funny that sometimes the best ones are the simplest and created at the last minute!
