Life is a maze. There are some amazing things behind you. There are some amazing things around the corner. But perhaps the most amazing thing is the breath you are taking right at this moment.
When I drew this maze this morning, I hadn’t intended for it to be so distorted. When I finished it, I thought “If only I had the mind of M. C. Escher, I could do something really clever with this idea.” For a moment I contemplated holding this one back until I could spend some time to refine the idea with a new drawing. But the more I thought about it, I realized, as we are traveling through this maze of life, we can’t see the whole picture, and our perception of things is always a bit distorted. Sometimes errors in judgement can lead to interesting perspectives.
