What if everyone in the whole world spent 20 minutes every day creating something to make the world a better place for everyone?
I have this idea that if people were focused every day on expressing themselves through writing, creating art, music, crafts, building, or performing, the world would be a better place. Maybe it’s just a silly, naive notion, and I have no idea how such a thing would be possible to orchestrate. But it made me feel good to think about the possibility of everyone in the whole world writing, playing music, sculpting, journaling, playing, singing, gardening and doodling every single day. I think it could go a long way to making people happier with our lives. It could be a cure for depression. Maybe WordPress is on its way to making that happen some day!
with people like you in the world inspiring us, it just may happen yet (~_~)
Hi Art, That’s so kind of you to say that – I feel the same way about you and your blog – you put so much positive energy out there, it’s amazing!
Tim
What a fabulous thought, Tim! A lot more smiles and a lot less grouchies, right? I really love this doodle too. Perhaps from now on when coming across unhappy people we should just politely suggest they start creating! lol Uh oh, now I see a t-shirt…”A creation a day keeps the doctor away!” I better sign off before I get carried away! 😀
Hi Nancy, T-shirts would be great – nothing wrong with getting carried away – it’s fun when that happens!
Tim
Nice thoughts, nice person!
Thank you so much!
Tim
Wonderful thoughts. I think it would definitely help a lot of people feel better and less cranky. Great sketch. I love all the little people figures. Maybe I’ll give paint brushes to people in my life that could use a bit more happy juice. 🙂 Thanks Tim. See you tomorrow. Have a wonderful day.
Hi Laurie, Giving paint brushes is a great idea! Speaking of paint brushes, I need to get working on the box canvas you won! I will work on it a little today. I have an idea.
Tim
Wonderful sketch! That would be a fantastic idea to have everyone stop what they are doing for 20 min. and draw or do some art form. Fantastic idea!
Hi Linda, Maybe we can create a WordPress challenge someday – that would be fun!
Tim
Oh, Tim. I SO agree! It just breaks my heart to hear that the arts and music are being stripped away from our schools these days. Our children need to play and create to grow healthy and strong – and so do we!
Maybe in your spare time, you should put something together for us! LOL 😉 (btw, I’ve recently gone to your websites and seen your work. It’s beautiful and charming – the stuff I’d love to have in my home!)
Hi Janece, I hear you – I was thinking of the funding cuts when I was drawing this and how the arts are really needed in schools as much as ever.
Thanks so much for checking out my work!
Tim
What a wonderful world that would be!!
Hi Rita, I know, it sure would be!
Tim
I agree with Rita, “What a wonderful world that would be” I forward this creation to my daughter whose in college. Sharing your inspiration with her. Keep them coming Tim. Have a great weekend!
Hi Maria, Thanks so much for forwarding this to your daughter. I’ll do my best to keep them coming. Hop you have a great weekend, too!
Tim
Bravo!..(applause, applause)
Thank You!
Tim
I have to agree with most of the comments, if not all of them. It is so true. I think we all need to have that moment to just start from scratch and brainstorm. If we look around us, from beginning of time, we have been creating. Just some of us quit having fun with it. 5 stars for you today! clap…cheers…hugs.
ok…call me silly.
Hi Diana, Thanks so much for that!

In the voice of Louis Armstrong: “What a wonderful world it would be.”
Hi Kathie, I actually had thought of that song – great song, thanks for mentioning it.
Tim
A beautiful concept… and I can picture it taking place! Imagine that….. it would be so magical and colourful!!!! There would be so much to explore, with such a thought.
I believe I will be having such wonderful dreams tonight.
Do you dream in colour Tim? hmmm I wonder. I am curious. I do and I love to ask people if they dream in colour. Its interesting how many people have to stop and think before they answer.
I travel to some part of the world about two nights a month. I have extremely vivid dreams, magical and very colourful, lol, that’s probably why I awake sleepy some mornings! For I have travelled the world and back in just a few short hours.
Sweet dreams to you all, and to all a good night.
Allana
Hi Allana, I hardly ever remember my dreams, but I believe I dream in color, because there are a few vivid dreams I remember a little, and I do remember color.
Happy Travels!
Tim
