Fergiemoto left a comment on yesterday’s post that became the inspiration for today’s doodle. She wrote, “It is very healing to just let the creativity flow.”
This drawing brought me full circle back to one of my first posts on August 12th, 2011. At the time I had no idea what to draw, which is a pretty common occurrence for me. I drew a study of my hand, because it was the most interesting thing right in front of me. Last night, when I was thinking of a way to show the power of creativity leading to healing, the image that came to mind for healing was a hand. I think I will occasionally return to hand studies as subject matter. It might be interesting to see how my studies and approach grow over time.

Oh, so true, Tim! I’m a firm believer in creative therapy for anyone suffering physical or mental illness! I know it’s been a huge help to me! Even just a few minutes a day can make all the difference! Love the hand…and all the squiggles! 😀

Nancy, I just read your comment. And again, another confirmation for me….. the word believer is what you wrote!! The mini book I created this morning is called “Believe”.
Thank you for your words of wisdom!!

WOW, again today Tim! I made a mini book for a friend early this morning and gave the book a title of “Believe”. Today is his first day of a healing yourney. It is a journey that he has chosen to take on his own (along with a beloved pet). Complete solitude with only nature.
I wrote to him on the first page. The rest is for him to create and heal. May healing hands embrace him in time of need.
Thank you for your words and drawing of healing today.
