This is my 62nd daily post, so it has officially been two months blogging. Reaching that milestone led to today’s doodle.
I’ve gained some confidence since I started this blog. In the beginning, I didn’t know if I would be able to keep it up. I still have a lot to figure out, but I planted the seed and committed to nurturing it, and I’m glad I did!
Today, I have just a little progress on the 150 subscriber giveaway project. Last night I troweled on some molding paste along the edges of the canvas. The purpose of this is to hide the seams created from the glued on Cheerios box panel.
Congratulations, Tim! I’m really glad you did too! I look forward to seeing your doodle each day! Part of the fun is never quite knowing what to expect! lol I certainly do love today’s doodle! It’s actually a very good rendition of my back yard before Fall blew through! π
Hi Nancy, You must have a really nice back yard! Thanks for following – I never know what to expect either!
Tim

This one is really all- around lovely! π
Hi Rita, Thanks for letting me know you like it! I hope you’re having a great weekend. The weather is beautiful here in New Hampshire, and my day today felt like today’s doodle, very relaxing.

Congratulations! and great blog – we’ve been at it for about the same amount of time, you perhaps a minute longer π your blog looks great, and the layout is wonderful – would you help me better mine by answering a few questions?? I love the fact that you have a filter option – I wonder if that is something that came with your blog layout, or if that could be added to any and all, do I need to add tags to actually use that feature… what else could you tell me about that? I would love to have one, it looks great on your page, and it’s definitely very helpful π and my 2nd inquiry would be about all of the ways you offer to share your blog: fb, linkdin, etc.. I’ve only got 3, but I’d like to add more. How did you do it? As you can tell, I myself am still learning this whole blog thing…. very nice work on yours, and eager to see&read more.
I’ll answer your questions as best I can – it’s all still new to me too, so I’m no expert! The filter option is something I found in the widgets section in the WordPress Dashboard. It’s called a tag cloud, and you can just drag a widget to the section listed on the right that indicates the area you’d like to add the widget to. You’ll need to add tags to your posts for them to show up in the tag cloud. You can name it anything you like – I called mine filter, because I was trying to keep with a coffee theme.
If you go to your dashboard, click on settings and click on sharing (under settings). This will bring up the social media share buttons, and you can just drag the ones you want into the Enabled Services section. That’s how I added those.
I hope that helps – you should explore the widgets, there are some interesting things there.

It’s obvious that art is one of the things that you love, Tim … I can see your passion and commitment in every sketch and journal that you post. Your art seems to transition into a source of wisdom for you too.
Hi Bonnie, Thank you so much for that observation. I think you’re right about. I think the art helps me to think things through.
Tim
I hear you with the confidence. That is why I started blogging over a month ago, it feels good. Nice work!
Hi Joy, It does feel good. It’s like exercise for the mind and soul!
Tim
Beautiful garden sketch. Makes me want to visit. I especially love the bench.
Hi Laurie, It’s a place that I invented in my mind, so I’d say anyone can visit – you just have to imagine that place!
Tim
Hello, This is beutiful. Love all your works of art. Gives me inspiration for journaling myself. Have a great day! Keep those Sketches coming!
Hi Maria, I’ll do my best to keep the sketches coming! It’s funny, every day I feel like I might be standing at the edge of the earth, looking into an empty void, but somehow I take a step and I find solid ground!
Tim
Hi Tim,
Your response is a sign of another wonderful Sketch getting ready to be drawn. Adelante! :o) (on ward!!!)
Tim, I can’t believe you can come up with so may different drawings. It’s always fun to see what your next day’s drawings will inspire. Keep them coming. I appreciate and look forward to everyday of them.~ lorraine
Hi Lorraine, I sort of can’t believe I can come up with a new idea every day either. I’m surprising myself! I’ll do my best to continue.
Tim
