The other day I received a spam comment that my search engine optimization isn’t very good, and I had to laugh. It said my tags weren’t mentioned in my text, my key word density was low, blah blah blah.
This blog is a little too much of a wild garden for me to worry about search engine optimization. In fact on a scale of 1 to 100 of the most important tasks in my life, search engine optimization ranks at about zero!
I find that there are so many things to think about, to plan for, to tend to, that life ends up being sort of a wild garden. I can only tend to small parts of it at a time. Some things demand more attention at times, and other parts of it go untended, sometimes for years. Just the other day (without going into details) I wandered into a part of my garden that was all choked out with weeds, and I had no idea this was happening. I think if it were possible to manicure everything in one’s life, it would either take superhuman abilities, an entire team of dedicated people or it would be a very small garden.
How’s that for keyword density?
Ha! Ha! Ha!.. I couldn’t agree more! Great post AND doodle today!… Now off I run, to tend to everything MY OWN “GARDEN” is calling me for!
Hi Tina, I hope your wild gardening went well today.

Loved this, and the picture too. I keep getting the same spam email. It’s all gibberish to me, I’m just here to write.
Hi Neeks, I hear you! How can anyone write a post that’s optimized with repeated words and phrases, unless it just happens naturally? It’s kind of funny that after I wrote it, I noticed I had repeated phrases like Search Engine Optimization and keywords, so it would be funny to me if that post pops up when people are googling those phrases. I should probably have apologized to those people in advance!

How very true! And tending to your wild garden is the most important thing for us to do in this life. Love the sketch today! 🙂
Hi Rita, Thanks for the feedback. So glad you like it!

Love your philosophy lesson. Point well taken, got to work on one thing at a time. Love you.
Hi Judy, Thanks for adding to the conversation!

This would make a beautiful piece for scrapbooking paper. Very nice work.
Hi Lorraine, Good idea! I’ll see if I can do anything about that!
Tim
it is good realize what needs to be controlled and what to let go wild, great picture.
Hi Bridget, I think that’s the challenge – is figuring out what needs work – sometimes things can be allowed to grow wild too long, while you’re distracted by other things!

NOW this is the type of garden I can not kill and can grow with any problems. I just do not have a green thumb. I guess if I painted one in green and get some on my thumb, then I can say I have a green thumb. LOL TFS!!

Hi Diana, I know what you mean about gardening. I’m awful at it, too.
Tim
love your analogy of the garden. i agree with search engine optimization.. while i enjoy learning about all the ways you can utilize and enhance your wordpress blog, i can only handle the basics. my blog is about as simple as it gets, adding a little widget here or there as i learn. i have so little time to write and be creative, i can’t clutter this time with google analytics and the such. i respect and envy those who can balance all that with their creativity. it’s just not for me. if someone is meant to read a post of mine, they will find me. (-: Love your doodles and sketches! So free and full of life!
I agree. It’s so hard to balance everything. I just can’t imagine forcing the repetition of words into a post. It would probably take me all day to craft a couple of paragraphs if I had to consider those things. Thanks for letting me know you’re enjoying the blog!
