It’s important to remember to seek out those things that make us feel good.
Today, I’m taking some of the time I normally devote to this blog and I’m using it to write a personal letter to a friend. It can be easy to let the most important things slide when you’re at your busiest. Sometimes it’s necessary to steal some time away from something that’s important and give it to something truly essential that has gone neglected.
Speaking of writing…this would make a most beautiful card, too. 🙂
Nice to hear someone else puts hand to paper for a good old fashioned snail mail letter. There’s nothing like the personal touch of getting something hand-penned in the mailbox! :):)
Hi Rita, It’s so true. I hope snail mail doesn’t ever completely go away.

Tim, your sunflowers are always so beautiful and this one is no exception! They’re a real favorite of mine and seeing their smiley faces always makes me feel good! Thank you! 🙂
Nancy, Sunflowers are so happy looking – and they are in bloom in my area now, so it seemed appropriate.
Thanks,
Tim
A letter from a friend … what could be better? Life IS so busy but to have a friend take time to write some thoughts on paper and send them to you, is definitely one of those ‘feel good memories’ to cherish forever. Your sunflower speaks volumes of your state of mind today.
Hi Bonnie, Yes, letters are kind of rare these days, so they really do stand out.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Tisha, You’re welcome – and thanks for checking out the blog. It’s so important to get a response, especially in these early stages, because it really helps to maintain motivation!

Ewwww very beautiful. I like this one too! TFS.
Thanks! I wonder what I’ll draw tomorrow.
