Hurricane Irene is gone. The power flickered a few times, but we didn’t lose it entirely here. I’m relieved it’s over. The hurricane inspired the drawing this morning. If you have trouble reading the verse it reads, “Sometimes finding your true center is like finding the eye of the storm.” Life can be so busy at times that it can seem like you’re getting tossed around in a storm of activity. The challenge is to find that calm center. Every hurricane has an eye, and so does every day.
I decided to do a second drawing today. I thought, why stop at one?
We are now experiencing the calm after the storm.
I always enjoy seeing your drawings. I admire your talent. Have a nice day,
Hi Johanne, Thanks so much for letting me know – that’s such a nice thing to read at the beginning of the day. I hope you have a nice day, too.

That is such a true statement!!
Love your drawings this morning! 🙂
Hi Rita, Thanks for the feedback! I’m surprised I’ve been able to keep up with writing something new every day – I used to think I would run out of ideas after a few days. My goal with these posts is to write something true every day inspired by life, so I appreciate that you made that comment.

You have such a creative soul, Tim.
Hi Bonnie, Thank you! Tim
Very timely verse, as I sit here this morning trying to plot out the family calendar for the week and wondering how I will find time to shower much less time for something creative. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
Hi Melanie, Thanks so much for posting a comment, and letting me know you can relate. I hope you have a great day, too!

Hi Elizabeth, It’s a great motivator to hear you look forward to the posts. I can’t think of better encouragement than that.

WOW, that saying is very inspiring. Especially this morning. Having Teen problems and it seems like a hurricane in here. So after viewing and reading this, I am so despartely trying to find the eye. Thank you again for another wonderful post. Have an awesome day.
I’m glad to hear you like the saying, and that you’re finding it an inspiration.

Hi, Tim. Your drawings and writings are always such an inspiration to me. Sometimes your words seem to be echoing thoughts in my own mind that I haven’t yet stilled myself to say. I love the way your first drawing depicts the swirling and some of the scatteredness of a hurricane and your second drawing is serenity after the storm. I also want to thank you for responding to me each time I post. I notice that you acknowledge each and every one of us and I, for one, feel valued by you.
Everyone is valued here, and I’m glad that comes through in my responses. The comments keep me motivated and connected – it’s instant gratification knowing that people care.
