Occasionally, people ask me where all my ideas come from.
Sometimes I take an idea from the past. In the case of today’s daily doodle, I literally took the word “idea” from yesterday’s post and allowed it to grow. My ideas usually start with a small seed. Sometimes that seed comes from past work, an experience I’m going through at the moment, or a vision of a creation that I think should exist in the world.
Caffeine. Caffeine. I am cleaning and writing. CAFFEINE! I love the title of your blog and I AM CLEANING THE WINDOWS aT THE SAME TIME. :}

Hi Fergie, That’s so true – I hardly ever know where one of these sketches will take me when I start drawing. I wouldn’t have guessed that I would have made it this far in the daily blogging effort when I first started. I’ve really surprised myself.
