Today I added hot glue to my box art, traced the hand, and added some dimensional swirl and stripe designs in hot glue.
I painted the hand black and dry brushed with bright copper iridescent acrylic paint.
I used a trowel like a palette knife to add more layers of color around the box.
That’s all I had time for today, but I will continue work on this tomorrow.

That is truly amazing how it changes daily and gets better each time…….I am just getting started at altered art and you are a real inspiration…..
Hi Cheryl, Thanks so much for the feedback. This is really experimental for me. My art is generally very detailed and traditional, but I’m trying to grow in new directions, so it’s great to get feedback like that.

Hi Diana, I know I’m sort of into this hot glue thing lately – you win some you lose some. Art is like that – sometimes people just don’t get it, but I’m learning I have to create to please myself. Even if other people don’t like what I create, it’s OK. I might try it in my art journal I’ve started to experiment with the technique. I’m also dreaming up a new twist on the cereal box art – and it’s something I hope to unleash on the Youtube world soon. Thanks so much for participating and commenting! Tim :0)
